Babyletto Kiwi glider dimensions: how much room it needs reclined
Short answer: the Babyletto Kiwi recliner and swivel glider is 29" wide × 38" deep × 41" tall, and Babyletto lists it at 64" long fully reclined. Plan a spot about 30" wide and 66–68" deep (64" plus a little buffer), and keep about a 48" circle clear if you'll use the swivel.

Upright it covers about 7.7 sq ft. Reclined, the footrest adds about 26" in front (38" → 64"). Swiveling sweeps a circle about as wide as the chair's diagonal (≈48").
How much space to plan
Footprint upright: 29" × 38". That's mid-size for a nursery recliner, a little narrower than many wingbacks.
Reclined: 64" front to back. Measure 64" out from the wall behind the chair and add 2–4" so the back doesn't scrape. Babyletto's manual gives the exact wall gap for each model, so check it before you commit to a tight corner.
Swivel: the chair's corners sweep about a 48" circle. In a corner, keep the center of the chair about 24" from both walls, or the arms will bump the wall when you turn.
Door: keep the reclined footrest out of the door's swing. A 30–32" door sweeps a quarter circle that big inside the room.
Electronic version: it plugs in, so place it within cord reach of an outlet and route the cord along the wall, not across a walkway.
Example: Kiwi in a 10x10 nursery
Kiwi in the lower-left, facing into the room so the footrest (orange) opens toward the middle, clear of the door swing. A 53.75" crib on the left wall and a 60" × 20" dresser on the right still leave a 33" walkway. Scale: 1 ft = 48 px.
Here the chair sits about 7" off the left wall with its center 26" from that wall, so the swivel circle just clears it. Reclined, the footrest reaches about 71" into the room, short of the 82" where the door starts to swing. There's about 25" between the crib's foot and the chair, enough to step past and close enough to reach the crib from a standing start.
Tight room? If you can't spare 66" of depth, angle the chair across a corner (the recline then runs diagonally into the room), or turn it so it reclines along a wall instead of out from it. More layouts: how much space a glider needs.
Drop a 29" × 38" glider into your own room and switch it to reclined to see where the footrest lands.
What are the dimensions of the Babyletto Kiwi glider?
Babyletto lists the Kiwi recliner and swivel glider at 38" long (deep) × 29" wide × 41" tall, with a fully reclined length of 64". The electronic version has the same outside size.
How much space does the Kiwi need when reclined?
About 64" front to back, per Babyletto. Plan 66–68" from the wall to leave a little buffer, and check the manual for the exact wall gap.
Will the Kiwi glider fit in a 10x10 nursery?
Yes. In a 10x10 it fits with a full-size crib and a 6-drawer dresser if it faces into the room so the footrest opens toward the middle, away from the door swing.
Is the Kiwi Electronic bigger than the regular Kiwi?
No. Both are 29" × 38" × 41" and 64" reclined. The electronic one is heavier (123.2 lb vs 102 lb) and needs an outlet nearby.
How much room does a swivel glider need to turn?
A circle about as wide as the chair's diagonal. For the 29" × 38" Kiwi that's roughly 48", so keep its center about 24" from nearby walls.
